Tis the season of tomatoes....

This week was the yearly traditional tomato sauce making.

It's quite the drudgery.

However surrounded by italian woman is always a hoot!

River of tomatoes waiting to be transformed...

First washing...

All clean...

Then we must cut them in four...

All cut...

First boil...

Then puree...

Add some seasoning...

Boil once more... (wish I had focused on the sauce more)

Jars all lined up...

Let's pour some sauce...

Final product...

Yummy yummy, capturing the taste of summer!
