SuperPrincess Ava

How fitting that my first post would be about a little self proclaimed super princess named Ava Rosemeyer, a 3yrs old who loved all things pink and girlie, who left too early to dance amongst the angel.

I stumble upon her mother Sheye's blog while looking for inspiration.

Her story, her words, her strength and her breathtaking pictures brought me to many tears.
Now not only has she made me a better photographer but especially a better mother.

Truly an inspirational blog worth following.

August 22nd would have been Ava's 6th birthday....

In homage of this day, we had a tea party, with all things girlie and pink, just as Ava would have liked it...

Cupcakes delight...

Looking to Ava...

Friends to share...

All sugared out...

Please take a moment to visit Sheye's blog to light a candle and remember this sweet little princess, remember Ava's rule, remember how short life is, how fragile and fleeting these moments are.

Our thoughts are with you Rosemeyer Family. Thank you for sharing Ava's story with us. Thank you for letting us into your lives, Thank you for inspiring us to be better.

"Will I fly into the sky to meet Ava?"....her words as she flew the pink balloons around in our yard...a little disappointed it didn't quite work.

A quick note: the animal lover in me couldn't release the balloons (even thought all those pics are sooo lovely) too many end up in our oceans endangering the lives of our sea and air creatures.

On a processing note: would have loved to apply my newly purchased Candy Actions...unfortunately having some technical difficulties with my photoshop at this moment, will edit when fixed.
